I'm not sure if you noticed, but I had respectfully requested that anyone objecting to my removal of the "Appearance and Taste" section of the Leo McGarry article please contribute to the discussion at Talk:Leo McGarry#Leo's appearance BEFORE reverting. I see that you've reverted without contributing to that discussion. I won't be reverting your edit for now, but could you please contribute to the discussion there? Clearly you feel that that section needs to be there and I think the community deserves to read your rationale. When contributing, though, please remember to assume good faith on the part of other Wikipedia users, including me. Thanks! --Hnsampat (talk) 06:11, 24 May 2008 (UTC)

Regarding your response on my talk page, which read, "I'm not sure you noticed but I chose to ignore you're [sic] suggestion." Please remember that Wikipedia works by consensus. I'm trying to work with you to build a consensus, which is why I keep insisting that you contribute to the discussion on the talk page. Right now (with 2 contributions), that discussion isn't going in your favor. If a stronger consensus builds, then the policies of Wikipedia will dictate that the "Appearance and Taste" section be removed. If you then choose to ignore that consensus, it will be seen as disruptive by the Wikipedia community. If, however, you rationally lay out your arguments on the talk page, you may find consensus working in your favor. Come on, we're all trying to make the article the best it can be, right? Let's work together instead of arguing, huh? Thanks! --Hnsampat (talk) 06:30, 24 May 2008 (UTC)
