[edit] Adding references to articles
Hi. I noticed that you have recently edited several articles to add references to recent announcements. That's great. However, when you add references to an article, please follow the structure of the existing references in the articles.
That generally means that, rather than formatting the links like this: [http://example.gov.au example reference], you would format them like this: <ref>http://example.gov.au example reference</ref>.
If you look below the editing box while editing an article, you'll find a section labelled "Wiki markup". On that line, you'll find a clickable link for <ref></ref> which will type that part for you. You simply need to click that, then paste the link into it.
That would save others having to come along later and reformat all the new links that you have added to match the rest of the links in the articles. Thanks. --Athol Mullen 14:27, 7 September 2007 (UTC)
