Unblock request templates should be placed on the blocked user's talk page by the blocked user himself. They should not be placed by anyone else, or on anyone else's user talk page. Thank you. Kafziel Take a number 07:46, 3 February 2008 (UTC)
{{helpme|Why? The talk page for that user I am talking about is protected. I can only add it if you unprotect it.}}
- It is not protected, check the logs if you don't believe me. --FastLizard4 (Talk•Index•Sign) 07:57, 3 February 2008 (UTC)
{{helpme|It is so protected. Besides, when I say "the user I am talking about", I mean the user I am asking to be unblocked.}}
- I've unprotected User:202.76.162.34. This IP can now request unblocking if required. Any other use of that page, for example for further vandalism or abusive messages will result in an immediate reprotection of the page. The only use the blocked account can make of the talk page is to request an unblock. I suggest that any unblock request should be accompanied by a far better reason than "I don't want to create an account for this address!". Good luck, Gwernol 08:04, 3 February 2008 (UTC)
{{helpme|I want that address's talk page, not user page, unprotected. Blocked users can only edit their talk page, not their user page.}}
- The talk page is unprotected. Kafziel Take a number 08:09, 3 February 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Blocked
This account has been attempting to harass another user, and shows signs of being a sock puppet of a banned user. Therefore, I have blocked it. Jehochman Talk 14:17, 15 February 2008 (UTC)
{{helpme|This page is not already peotected. Please protect it.}}
- The 30 day protection that Yamla placed has expired. The protection seems to have served its purpose: this account has not been used to make any more disruptive edits. I'm sure if he becomes a problem again it will be handled promptly. Copied answer to Besuto's talk page. Hoof Hearted (talk) 15:57, 17 March 2008 (UTC)
This is the discussion page for an anonymous user, identified by the user's numerical IP address. Some IP addresses change periodically, and may be shared by several users. If you are an anonymous user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other anonymous users. Registering also hides your IP address.
