[edit] COI
I notice you have given me a COI warning, suggesting you have a history on WP. Have you ever participated using a username? If so, what is it? Also, do you yourself have any COI regarding Sahaja Yoga? --Simon D M (talk) 11:02, 15 January 2008 (UTC)
I have no connection with the organization - I happened by the article and noticed that it was being edited by someone using the alias "Cult free world" and then briefly read through the discussion page and noticed the COI issues. I usually do edit WP with a username (when I am contributing to articles) but when it comes to administrative tasks/ cleanup I prefer not to. 124.170.164.157 (talk) 11:31, 15 January 2008 (UTC)
- OK, it's just that looking at your contributions I didn't see any other activity and there has been a history on Sahaja Yoga of COI edits from anonymous Australians (as well as Australian sockpuppets). I would welcome other neutral editors getting involved, so far we've only had Will BeBack paying any level of consistent attention, to which I've always deferred. --Simon D M (talk) 12:01, 15 January 2008 (UTC)

- Please elaborate more as what prompted you to place a COI notice ? alias or username ? there is a difference, please try to participate in discussion and place your objections with reasons on article talk page. hypothetical assumptions will only cause more and more confusion, pls avoid anything for which you are not sure about. It seems as if, anyone who is not tuned into your POV type, has a COI !! please explain. --Cult free world (talk) 13:26, 15 January 2008 (UTC)
Your username clearly states your COI, which is also seen in your non-neutral edits. As far as I can see there are two editors (which make the most edits) which have COI in this matter. 124.170.164.157 (talk) 20:24, 15 January 2008 (UTC)
- My user name clearly states what ? --Cult free world (talk) 00:03, 16 January 2008 (UTC)
-
- Your COI. 124.170.164.157 (talk) 11:33, 16 January 2008 (UTC)

-
- How ? --Cult free world (talk) 11:54, 16 January 2008 (UTC)
-
Is it coincidence that your only edits are to the Sahajayoga and the SSB organizations, which have been labeled as cults by some organizations? Or that you seek to add biased language ("cult", "brainwash" etc) to the articles? 124.170.164.157 (talk) 21:24, 16 January 2008 (UTC)
- We will come to this question once again, but as of now, please clarify as How this username states COI ? --Cult free world (talk) 06:05, 17 January 2008 (UTC)
I have already answered your question. 124.170.164.157 (talk) 06:30, 17 January 2008 (UTC)
Is this a coincidence as well ? from your answer, even your edits also fall under category of COI ! what if a username like "Cult Bound World" did edits smiler to mine, will that also fall in category of COI ? or a user name like "CULT" or "NO CULT" or "Say Yes To Cults" ? any edits from such usernames tantamounts to COI ? did you tried to review my edits ? did you find any edits which is not discussed ? if so please point out deviation from normal wikiepdia work culture, discussion and then editing. --Cult free world (talk) 08:56, 17 January 2008 (UTC)
I would suggest you read What constitutes COI. I have no COI in this matter because I have no agenda on which I base my edits. I am trying to insure that edits made to articles are neutral, whereas you are attempting to spread your POV - edits (like I mentioned above) such as adding non-neutral terms such as "cult" or "brainwash". Your username merely describes your position - your edits confirms it. 124.170.164.157 (talk) 13:21, 17 January 2008 (UTC)
- Cult Free World, use of the word 'cult' is actually specifically mentioned in WP:WTA. I think it is problematic to use it in the template, as I mentioned, although I agree that referring to 'self-realisation' is also problematic. That's why I think the template should just go. Personally I can't see any problem with your username. --Simon D M (talk) 13:56, 17 January 2008 (UTC)
-
- Was there any statement which was not referenced as per WP:RS ? --Cult free world (talk) 17:45, 17 January 2008 (UTC)
-
- Suggest me a username, that will not according to you constitute COI.... but nature of my edits will remain same.... :), by any chance, are you part of this cult ? --Cult free world (talk) 18:09, 17 January 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Warnings
Please assume good faith in your dealings with other editors. Instead, assume that they are here to improve rather than harm Wikipedia.
Dealing with users with whom you disagree by templating or accusing them (especially on your third and fourth edits to the encyclopaedia) is hardly going to improve the situation or facilitate a positive editing atmosphere. Orderinchaos 13:12, 21 January 2008 (UTC)
