I sit on the board of the Shaw Preservation Society. The idea of putting up a web site on Shaw, Two Mile Prairie, and the history of Wettershaw Manor was a simple idea since our group can't afford to spend much money on a full time web site and the money we do have is spent better on fixing up the community instead. I can state that the history on this page and others is true because I live here and I see it every day. As to the question of the nobility of the Wetter family I find it hard to believe that in less than a week one can pull so much info from census records, and church records from around the world and proclaim that a family is a hoax. I can type in the family name and find many things and other sites about them. Mr. Wetter has done more for the community of Shaw than you will ever do sitting at your computer and finding something wrong with what other people have submitted.
