Please do not add content without citing reliable sources, as you did to Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope. Before making potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. If you are familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources please take this opportunity to add references to the article. Contact me if you need assistance adding references. Thank you. If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make the edit, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Wikipedia is a consensus driven community. Please communicate via the Talk page of articles and respect the decisions reached by consensus. If you continue to revert consensus decided decisions, you will be blocked from editing. Dp76764 (talk) 03:20, 20 April 2008 (UTC)

  • There are other grounds for blocks, not just vandalism. Please respect the policies and rules of Wikipedia. Dp76764 (talk) 03:28, 20 April 2008 (UTC)
  • As you can see by the Talk Page of Episode 4, I am merely following the consensus agreement of numerous editors. Wikipedia standard is for movies to be listed in chronological order of their PRODUCTION. Episode 4 was made first, that is an incontrovertible fact. If you wish to debate this decision, please add something constructive to the Talk page, instead of making your own unilateral declaration/decision. Dp76764 (talk) 03:34, 20 April 2008 (UTC)

And I am respecting Lucas' wishes, he numbered the films for a reason, and it is vandalism that your "consensus" is suggesting. They have no right to change the order of the films anymore than you do. It is incontrivertible that Episode 4 occurs after Episode 3, and you have no right to change Lucas' work. It is you and your "consensus" that is trying to make "unilateral" decisions by challenging Lucas' wishes. 12.227.159.219 (talk) 03:37, 20 April 2008 (UTC)

  • You talk about George as if he were some god to be worshipped. He's just a guy who made some movies. I like those movies too, they are among my favorite movies of all time. That having been said, this is an encyclopedia, not a Star Wars fan site. We respect facts and reality here, and the real world facts are that Revenge of the Sith was the last movie to be released. Yes, as a matter of fact, Lucas is a genius, hence the success of his films. You, nor anyone else has the right to change the chronology of his stories that he himself wrote. I don't care what order he made them in, he intends them to be viewed in the order he himself placed them in. To try to deny that fact is an insult to his creativity and his success. 12.227.159.219 (talk) 03:46, 20 April 2008 (UTC)

Hi! I notice that you've reverted the Star Wars Episode IV page more than three times per day. Please do not do this. You may wish to read WP:3RR. Editors who revert more than three times per day can be blocked. Thank you. Urzatron (talk) 05:04, 20 April 2008 (UTC)

No, I'm afraid the creator has given the films numbers for a reason, because he intends them to be viewed as he has them numbered, and the events of the films occur in that order. "Production order" is an "incorrect" order, and it is an insult to Lucas' wishes for the films to be taken in the order he himself has placed them in. Any "block" is warranted to those who try to adhere to the ridiculous "production order," because it goes against the creator's wishes. 12.227.159.219 (talk) 05:17, 20 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Blocked

I've blocked you for 24 hours for violating the three-revert rule, after you were expressly warned about it above. We recognise that your edits were made in good faith and were not vandalism, but edit-warring is prohibited for a reason. If you agree to discuss the matter on the talk page and stop reverting, I will lift the block. (You can reply to me here - blocked users can still edit their own talk pages - or send me an email.)
