From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Welcome!
Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions.
Currently, you are editing without a username. You can continue to do so, as you are not required to log in to Wikipedia to read and write articles; however, logging in will result in a username being shown instead of your IP address (yours is 12.22.250.4). Logging in does not require any personal details. There are many other benefits for logging in to Wikipedia. For now, if you are stuck, you can type {{helpme}} on this page and an experienced Wikipedian will be around to answer any questions you may have.
Please note these points:
- Please respect others' copyrights; do not copy and paste the contents from webpages directly.
- Please use a neutral point of view to edit the article; this is possibly the most important Wikipedia policy.
- If you are testing, please use the Sandbox to do so.
- Do not add unreasonable contents into any articles, such as: copyrighted texts, advertisement messages, and texts that are not related to that article. Both adding such unreasonable information and editing articles maliciously are considered vandalism.
The Wikipedia Tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, ask me on my Talk page – I will answer your questions as far as I can! Thank you again for contributing to Wikipedia.

[edit] Talk:John Hawkwood
Hi, welcome to Wikipedia! Thanks for reverting the vandalism you spotted on Talk:John Hawkwood. Edits such as this are common, and we need all the help we can get. If you intend to contribute regularly, you might want to consider creating a user account – it's quick and easy to do, and can be very useful. That aside, keep up the good work, and have a quick look at the policies if you haven't already. Again, thanks – Gurch 17:45, 27 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Disambiguation pages
Hi, please note that there are special rules for how disambiguation pages are to be formatted. You can find them at Wikipedia:Manual of Style (disambiguation pages). These special pages are not articles and are not intended to convey much information. They are navigation tools, intended to direct the person to the appropriate link as quickly as possible. The only links that should appear on these pages are the links to the articles that correspond to the ambiguous term. So, for example, the only links at Life on Mars (disambiguation) are the ones to Life on Mars, Life on Mars? (song) and Life on Mars (TV series). Also contrary to usual practice, links on disambiguation pages are normally not piped, so that readers can see the actual title of the article the link goes to. This helps the reader choose the correct link from the list.--Srleffler 23:17, 27 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] User page
There is no problem with nominating an article for anything when you have contributed to it extensively. Second, I wasn't the only editor for the article. Regardless, most people don't take anonymous editors that seriously (not saying that I am not taking you seriously, the point is coming), and from reviewing you edits to Aquaman, and other articles, I think it would be most beneficial for you, and for the rest of Wikipedia, to register. By registering you can save pages, and see when edits have been made after yours. Also, you could see when I, or another editor, have responded to something you addressed on the talk page. Please give it some thought, and thanks for the copy editing job on Aquaman. BIGNOLE (Contact me) 23:08, 11 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Welcome!
Hello! I've noticed that you have edited Wikipedia without logging in to an account. It's great that you've been contributing; however, I urge you to create an account. Here is a list of the benefits of having an account:
- You can create new pages
- You can use watchlists
- You can upload images
- You can keep your account from being unfairly blocked if you share an IP address
- You can use scripts to better fight annoying vandalism
- After four days, you can edit semi-protected pages
There are no cons to signing up for an account. In fact, you can find even more pros at the "why create an account" page! Signing up is completely free and you don't need to enter any personal information! Plus you can have a user page, which you can use to show your interests, style, or nearly whatever! So, unless you can think of a con, please sign up for an account right now! BoricuaeddieTalk • Contribs • Spread the love! 20:33, 16 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Nursie
I've gone over the Nursie article (as per your request via {{copyedit}}) to remove some of the unecessaryness and change a few bits. If there was a more specific problem with the article, let me know. Cheers, Miremare 21:33, 22 August 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Octopussy and The Living Daylights
I have removed your copyedit tag placement on the above article as you did not indicate on the article's talk page what you feel needs to be changed. A number of experienced Wikipedia editors worked on the article and I'm unaware of any major issues (this doesn't, of course, apply to general improvements that can be made on all article). Please indicate on the article's talk page what you feel needs to be fixed, so such repairs can be made. Or, please feel free to follow one of Wikipedia's credos, "Be Bold" and make the changes yourself. Thanks. 23skidoo 14:40, 26 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] AfD nomination of Brian Sinclair
An article that you have been involved in editing, Brian Sinclair, has been listed for deletion. If you are interested in the deletion discussion, please participate by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Brian Sinclair. Thank you. -- Daytona2 16:20, 12 November 2007 (UTC)
This is the discussion page for an anonymous user, identified by the user's numerical IP address. Some IP addresses change periodically, and may be shared by several users. If you are an anonymous user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other anonymous users. Registering also hides your IP address.
