oh come on, Vandalism is the biggest threat to wikipedia, we have to take it seriously. If you really want to make up false information, then add it to uncyclopedia, a parody of Wikipedia where this sort of thing is acceptable, we deal with around 3 vandal edits every 2 minutes here. In addition to that, you might want to consider the alternative of what would happen if we didn't take vandalism seriously. That would result in a bad encyclopaedia, and we don't want that. We thus take it seriously and warn those that attemt to compromise the integrity of our pages. Now don't go doing that again, or you'll find yourself blocked.
