Hello! Welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your edit to the Alliance-Union universe page! I changed your edit back, however, (called "reverting" in the Wikipedia lingo), because although it is indeed a stand-alone novel, Cuckoo's Egg is in fact part of the A-U universe. DAW Books printings of various Cherryh novels have identified it as such for years.
But regardless, I hope you will take a moment to look at some of the other articles in Category:C. J. Cherryh. Many are in good shape, but lots of these articles could use work and your contributions would be most welcome!
Also, you might consider getting a Wikipedia username if you plan to continue contributing to the encyclopedia. There is no requirement, of course, but there are some benefits to getting a username, see: Wikipedia:Why create an account?
