Info about this IP
This IP is a common web-facing IP address for a corporation that uses NAT addressing internally. There are potentially 250+ distinct individuals who might show up in Wikipedia from this IP address. Many of these individuals are technically not supposed to logon to Wikipedia while at work, so your understanding is appreciated. -- 12.106.111.10 [Edited (again x3) for accuracy]
Check again - that is an ISP for the corporate internet firewall service, not the name of the company refered to in the top message on this page. -- 12.106.111.10
- Those of us who fall under the 'cube gopher' category on many of the programs/projects here at work are not supposed to login to any internet resource, regardless of if it is external webmail (MSN, Yahoo, etc), MySpace, and yes, even Wikipedia. Currently many people can still edit on Wikipedia as long as they don't login, so using Anon IP editing is their only option.
- To everyone using this IP: Don't be stupid or antagonistic, and cause this IP to be blocked for everyone! -- 12.106.111.10 17:08, 16 November 2006 (UTC)

- If you don't think that this could happen, look at January 2006 below, and then look at November 2006. -- 12.106.111.10 17:22, 16 November 2006 (UTC)

Why did you remove half the article again? --BJ 00:24, 11 October 2006 (UTC)
- The following material is copied from here
Re: this post, I removed non-notable (nn) and unverified information. -- 12.106.111.10 00:27, 11 October 2006 (UTC)
- A lot of that was notable, it might needed to be cleaned up but it was still notable. --BJ 00:35, 11 October 2006 (UTC)
-
- It's notable that they have a sports program, like almost every other school? The principle is notable enough to merit being mentioned both in the info box & in the article?
- The apparent suicide, while tragic, has not yet been deemed notable enough in the Mesa/Gilbert/Chandler community to make it into any credible published source (including the East Valley Trib, which seems to publish this kind of thing as often as it happens); this was actually mentioned in the text that was removed. WP is intended to be a encyclopedia, not a school year book. -- 12.106.111.10 00:43, 11 October 2006 (UTC)

- Also, I'm not sure what you mean by "again", as the edit history for this article clearly shows that no one from this IP address has never edited this article prior to todays consecutive edits. -- 12.106.111.10 00:45, 11 October 2006 (UTC)
- Sorry about the again was I was distracted but back to the point, I still think that "Traditions" and sports are notable. See every other high school article. --BJ 00:53, 11 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Your edit to HSL-Zuid
Your recent edit to HSL-Zuid (diff) was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to recognize and repair vandalism to Wikipedia articles. If the bot reverted a legitimate edit, please accept my humble creator's apologies – if you bring it to the attention of the bot's owner, we may be able to improve its behavior. Click here for frequently asked questions about the bot and this warning. // AntiVandalBot 23:43, 8 November 2006 (UTC)
- Ah, the bot's excellent, for the most part -- it saves a lot of recent changes patrollers a lot of time. But as you can see, it's not quite perfect and occassionally does get mixed up. I couldn't say why exactly it reverted you, but no matter -- I've reverted to your version. Let me know if you have any more problems with it. Thanks for your time! [edit] Out-of-pocket expenses
Please do not edit the user pages of other contributors without their approval or consent, as you did with User:CatMarieS. It may be seen as vandalism. Richard Harvey 17:01, 14 November 2006 (UTC)
- Sorry, just added an applicable internal link -- it looked like the text was/will be part of an article in the main article space. Didn't mean to cause any alarm. -- 12.106.111.10 17:05, 14 November 2006 (UTC)

- Here is the edit in question. While the edit was probably misguided, it was not vandalism. It was part of an effort to wikify references to out-of-pocket expenses that was done that day by a person or people at this IP address; please see edit history for this IP on 14 November 2006 for more details. -- 12.106.111.10 16:59, 16 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Joseph Smith: Prophet of the Restoration
This is your last warning.
The next time you vandalize a page, as you did to Joseph Smith: Prophet of the Restoration, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. A link to the edit I have reverted can be found here: link. If you believe this edit should not have been reverted, please contact me. ST47Talk 20:53, 15 November 2006 (UTC)
- The following was copied over from here.
What vandalism are you talking about? Here is the edits in question. All I did was remove the stub tags and fix those Categories: (1) The stub tags are not appropriate because the article it too long to be a stub; (2) Category:Presidents of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is for people, not films; (3) Category:History of the Latter Day Saint movement is for actual history, not depictions of history, and (4) Category:Joseph Smith, Jr. is a better category anyways, and it's a sub cat of Category:History of the Latter Day Saint movement anyways. If you disagree with my assessment, that's fine, it's your right, but don't label disagreements about content as vandalism (assume good faith), and defiantly do not give a incorrect Final warning; there are better ways to deal with conflicts than they way you are choosing. -- 12.106.111.10 21:20, 15 November 2006 (UTC)
- I used a t4 on an ip with a t3, that's procedure. you removed two tags and two cats with no editsummary. ST47Talk 21:41, 15 November 2006 (UTC)

- Official Wikipedia policy is assume good faith, even for edits made by IP addresses with no edit summary. Vandalism is "any addition, deletion, or change of content made in a deliberate attempt to compromise the integrity of Wikipedia." "Any good-faith effort to improve the encyclopedia, even if misguided or ill-considered, is not vandalism. Apparent bad-faith edits that do not make their bad-faith nature inarguably explicit are not considered vandalism at Wikipedia." Please, next time look before you shoot. -- 12.106.111.10 23:33, 15 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Shared company IP address
Sorry. But I did not use a shared company IP address in my dispute with Downwards. There were two of us that were in a dispute with Downwards. [edit] Ochlocrary
Stop adding links to ochlocracy. Funny it may be, but it's considered vandalism. This is your only warning. Picaroon 01:28, 13 March 2007 (UTC)
- please see conversation at User talk:Picaroon9288/Archive6#Ochlocracy

- The above warning of mine was in error and is hereby retracted with apologies; this user committed no vandalism. Picaroon 20:16, 14 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] angry mob
You are adding links to angry mob which is a disambiguation page. Ideally there should be no links to disambiguation pages, see WP:DPL. Instead the link should be disambiguated to the specific article, or the link removed. Regards, -- Jeff3000 04:03, 16 March 2007 (UTC)
- If I have erred, I'm sorry. For a previous discussion that led to this, please see User talk:Picaroon9288/Archive6#Ochlocracy. I was not informed as part of that discussion that one shouldn't link to disambiguation pages, but then again I didn't ask about that either, so Picaroon is of course in NO way at fault. -- 12.106.111.10 17:04, 16 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Question from my talk page
Why did I redirect? For one thing, the concensus at Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Angry_mob had been a redirect to Ochlocracy, a fact which I discovered in the course of trying to untangle why I was being sent in circles when I was on the unredirected page and I selected from the disambiguation list "mob, an unruly group of people" I was sent to ANOTHER disambiguation page at mob, and then when I selected "Angry mob" I was sent back to where I had started it all. You see the problem with two disambiguation pages which just send you back and forth between them? You end up moving in circles. Plus, talking between just two people on a user talk page usually doesn't supercede a concensus formed from an AfD discussion. Mermaid from the Baltic Sea 23:22, 19 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Category:Bigamists
I was interested in deleting the category, mainly because of the problems that you have already identified. You can attempt to add text to indicate what the category should be used for, or you can actively remove inappropriate article from the category, but in the long run, I do not think those measures will have any permanent effect. [edit] The Church of Jesus Christ
Please discontinue your vandalism with The Church of Jesus Christ. The Church is a common accepted form of The Church of Jesus Christ. JRN 19:29, 2 May 2007 (UTC)
- It is a shortened form of The Church of Jesus Christ. Please get it correct and sign in when making editsJRN 19:34, 2 May 2007 (UTC)
-
- The official and legal name of The Church is "The Church of Jesus Christ" therefore "The Church" is used in reference to "The Church of Jesus Christ" JRN 19:36, 2 May 2007 (UTC)
- This is not vandalism; use of "the church" instead of "The Church" follows Wikipedia:Manual of Style (Latter Day Saints)#Avoid use of "Mormonisms"; if you have a dispute with that (as many "Brighamites" have had in the past) you should not call it vandalism. However removing valid templates, categories and links to corresponding articles in alternate languages such as you have done on that article could easily qualify as vandalism. -- 12.106.111.10 19:42, 2 May 2007 (UTC)
-
- Although you make think the template is valid if you checked the talk page you would see that a concensus voted to keep it off the page as they viewed it as not valid. Please refer to the talk page before making any major additions or corrections. JRN 19:57, 2 May 2007 (UTC)
- The template is legitimately found on:
- The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints
- Community of Christ
- Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (Strangite)
- Latter Day Saint
- Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints
- Church of Christ (Temple Lot)
- The Church of Jesus Christ
- Latter Day Saint movement
- Church of Christ (Latter Day Saints)
- Category:Latter Day Saint denominations
- Succession crisis (Latter Day Saints)
- Rigdonite
- Subjectively removing it from only one of the articles it relates to (in this case 'The Church of Jesus Christ') is highly POV, and removing it from all of them based on a limited discussion on Talk:The Church of Jesus Christ would be highly irregular. Consensus building is not a "vote", and even at Talk:The Church of Jesus Christ I see no real consensus for removing the template. If you think that the template has no value I suggest that discuss this at WP:LDS, and/or do a TfD so that the template is completely removed from Wikipedia.-- 12.106.111.10 20:16, 2 May 2007 (UTC)
-
- Additionally the way you are removing the template is also harmful, because you keep removing more that just it. You have absolutely no justification for removing all of the categories & foreign language links. -- 12.106.111.10 20:18, 2 May 2007 (UTC)
