The 11th Light Infantry Brigade, was first formed as part of the United States Army's 6th Division. It was active from 1967 through 1971.

The brigade was organized as a separate Infantry Brigade at Schofield Barracks, Hawaii. During the Vietnam War the 11th was part of the United States Army's 23rd Infantry Division (Also called the Americal Division).
