[edit] Fair use rationale for Doctor Who, The Tenth Planet, Regeneration (Doctor Who) and Doctor Who missing episodes

This image, 10thplanet.jpg, is being linked here; though the image is copyright © to the BBC, I (Josiah Rowe (talkcontribs) 07:57, 21 January 2007 (UTC)) feel that it is covered by the U.S. fair use laws because:

  1. it is a low-resolution screenshot from the programme in question;
  2. it is being used for identification and critical commentary on the programme Doctor Who in general, the serial The Tenth Planet, the concept of regeneration as used in the programme, and the status of Doctor Who episodes missing from the BBC archive;
  3. no more free alternative exists or can exist;
  4. the use of the image in this article will in no way infringe on the BBC's copyright, or ability to market the programme or ancillary works.
