[edit] Alicia Rickter

Hi 10qwerty!

Welcome and thanks for your edits on the Alicia Rickter page. Hope you stick around! :-) Jester2001 22:15, 10 May 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Playmates

I like the succession boxes. That your idea? I'm curious though. Will this mean that you're going to create a page for every Playmate so that there won't be all those red links? Dismas 07:36, 11 May 2005 (UTC)

Yeah, nice work with the succession boxes! Now we can easily figure out which playmates still need articles. Jester2001 19:59, 11 May 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Link Fixing

Thank you, I appreciate the help. --Silversmith 17:05, 11 May 2005 (UTC)

Thanks. RachelBrown 22:07, 11 May 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Playmate Info Box

  • I like the infobox you created. However, I might later tinker with the colours a little bit. 10qwerty 21:35, 12 May 2005 (UTC)
Please do, I've never had good colour coordination. So that's why chose gray to be safe. Jester2001 21:46, 12 May 2005 (UTC)
Nice work with the templates! Jester2001 18:50, 13 May 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Thanks

Thanks a lot for help and advice.

Regards, Leonid

[edit] Roger that

Thanks for the heads up. I'll take care of it. K1Bond007 19:35, May 15, 2005 (UTC)

[edit] James Bonham

btw, James Bonham appeared unimportant because the writer failed to mention the one interesting fact about him. Googling allowed me to make this clearer. Algebraist 23:19, 15 May 2005 (UTC)

No problem. It's still a (bad) stub, it just has some relevance now. Algebraist 23:25, 15 May 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Hello, Dolly!

I certainly do intend to create an article, Hello, Dolly! (song) and a disambiguation page. However, I'm running out of time, so it will be later that I do that. -- BRG 15:03, May 16, 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Speedy Deletion

Hello qwerty,

I'm sorry, I don't know the actual policies about the deletion of images which have been uploaded into the Commons, i know just the procedure in german Wikipedia, where those images are candidates for speedy deletion. I did it here just the same way in the hope it would be ok... --rdb 18:28, 16 May 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Your userpage does not exist, so...

Hi 10qwerty, I've noticed that you currently don't have a userpage. This makes your name appear as a redlink when signing talk pages, or when seen in Special:Recentchanges or the edit history of a page. One simple solution, if you don't want to create a userpage, is to edit your userpage and insert the following:

#REDIRECT [[User talk:10qwerty]]

This will make your userpage a redirect to your talk page. If you ever want to create a user page, follow this link:

http://en.wikipedia.org../../../../articles/1/0/q/User%7E10qwerty.html

Alternatively, you could change your preferences to include a link to your talk page in your signature. For example, if you type

{{subst:User|10qwerty}}

on a page, save it, and copy the wikitext it produces into your signature, your signature will include:

10qwerty (talkcontribs)

Thanks, →Iñgōlemo← talk 23:40, 2005 May 16 (UTC)

  • Actually, as of now, I currently prefer to not have a user page because I agree with some of the same reasons Uncle G does not have a user page (See User:Uncle G/On having a user page if you are unfamiliar with it). And if you notice on my current signature (10qwerty), it actually links directly to my talk page now instead of my user page. Thanks anyway. 10qwerty 00:58, 17 May 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Image:Jicama.jpg

[edit] Hello, about your VFD page change

I'm all for being bold and I reworded the statement to this:

According to past consensus, you are urged to include "subst:" and not just {{vfd}}; this is easier on the servers. However, there are some disadvantages to this technique, and this practice has recently been disputed. Use {{vfd}} if you like, or learn more about the issue.

But I have not committed my change because the link you provided does not link to a discussion about subst: in templates. I, actually, have reverted your edit (because it doesn't really make grammatical sense). Feel free to re-include it as soon as you provide a specific link to the relevant page (or even use my rewrite ;) ). Thanks. Ambush Commander 19:47, May 17, 2005 (UTC)

Urp. That's right. Sorry. Should have done my research. I saw be bold and I saw an amendment to the policy and I was like "Huh, that's interesting," and I saw Rossami revert Jesse's edit and.. whoops. Sorry!!! Ambush Commander 00:59, May 18, 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Infobox call2

Hi, I've tried to modify the Template:Infobox UNSecGen to do something like Template:Infobox Playboy Playmate and display death dates and places if the person has died, and display nothing if they are alive. But it doesn't want to display right (see:Dag Hammarskjöld}. Can you take a look, as it seems you're a lot better at this than me.Trevor macinnis 18:26, 25 July 2005 (UTC) Nevermind ,figured it out:}Trevor macinnis 19:34, 25 July 2005 (UTC)
