107.9 ABC Ballarat, callsign 3CRR, is an ABC Local Radio station in Ballarat, Victoria. ABC Ballarat is one of the newest stations in the network, opened on June 30, 2003.[1] The station is the largest regional ABC station in Victoria and serves Ballarat, Ararat and Daylesford, as well as parts of south-west Victoria including Hamilton, Port Fairy, and Warrnambool through ABC South West Victoria.[1]
A local breakfast program is presented by Dominic Brine from 6.00am to 7.45am, in addition to a south-west Victorian morning program hosted by Steve Martin between 8.30am and 11.00am.[1] Two journalists work at the station producing content for both ABC Ballarat and ABC South West Victoria.[1]
