The 2nd Squadron, 106th Cavalry Regiment is a new reconnaissance unit forming in late 2006 within the Illinois Army National Guard, part of the military of the United States. It will become the RSTA portion of the new 33rd Brigade Combat Team, 35th Infantry Division.
