- Apollodorus of Damascus builds a stone bridge over the Danube more than 1,000 meters (3,280 feet) long, almost 20 meters high (65 feet) and 15 meters wide (49 feet). The bridge connects what is now Serbia with Romania (at the time known as Dacia).
