[edit] Main Characters

  • Stephen "Sneeze" Wyatt: Sneeze, nicknamed for his horrible allergies, is a kid inventor trying to get his name out there by using his brilliant inventions. In 101 Ways to Bug Your Teacher, he loses his ability to invent and tries his hardest to find out why.
  • Hector "Hiccup" Denardo: Sneeze's best friend (and sometimes not-so-willing test subject) Hiccup Denardo is a hypochondriac who comes from a large family. He is constantly worried about getting sick, usually going to extremes to prevent himself from becoming ill. He earned his nickname from the fact that he gets the hiccups whenever he is nervous or excited.
  • Hayley Barker: Sneeze's other best friend. She runs the counter at the golf course where Sneeze works. She's usually very calm and collected, but on the inside she's grieving over the loss of her mother Alyssa. At some points in the book, it is hinted that she has a crush on Sneeze.

[edit] Secondary Characters

  • Trudy "Goldie" Laux: Goldie Laux is a snoopy girl who goes to great lengths to get information about her peers to use in her gossip column...and/or as blackmail.
  • Ace: No one knows that much about Ace. They do know that he's extremely cool. Ace is very quiet in school, and none of the other characters know about his home life. A little more about Ace is revealed in each book of the series. In the first book, it is revealed that Ace's true name is "John Smith". Ace nicknamed most of the other characters.
  • Peter "Pierre" Noel: Pierre is feisty, fiery, shallow, and a bit of a bully. He dreams of becoming a French chef when he grows up...he wants to be one so badly that he speaks in a fake French accent all of the time. He does not think highly of Sneeze.
  • July Smith: An eighth grade girl who has joined over 50 clubs in her entire middle school career. She runs the Inventor's Club that Sneeze is a part of, and seems to know quite a lot about him...
