[edit] Welcome

Welcome!
Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. The following links will help you begin editing on Wikipedia:

Please bear these points in mind while editing Wikipedia:

  • Please respect others' copyrights; do not copy and paste the contents from webpages directly.
  • Please use a neutral point of view when editing articles; this is possibly the most important Wikipedia policy.
  • If you are testing, please use the Sandbox to do so.
  • Do not add unreasonable contents into any articles, such as: copyrighted text, advertisement messages, and text that is not related to an article's subject. Adding such unreasonable information or otherwise editing articles maliciously is considered vandalism, and will result in your account being blocked.

The Wikipedia Tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and vote pages using three tildes, like this: ~~~. Four tildes (~~~~) produces your name and the current date. Again, welcome!Andrew c 14:46, 20 November 2006 (UTC)

Please do not edit the user pages of other contributors without their approval or consent. It may be seen as vandalism. If you would like to experiment, please visit the sandbox. –The Great Llamamoo? 00:14, 8 December 2006 (UTC)

Please do not remove content from your talk page; other users will utilize this page as a way of seeing past discussion, and removing things can be seen as disruptive if you appear to be trying to hide something. You may wish to consider archiving old discussions; take a look at the move page if you would like to learn more about moving and renaming articles. –The Great Llamamoo? 22:11, 9 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] 3RR on OSX 10.5

There is a Wikipedia policy, WP:3RR, that states that nobody can revert content to a page within the same 24 hour period. There's an official notice I'm supposed to paste here, but I can't find it; you can read the policy to learn more.

You seem likely to revert the Tom's Hardware content out of the Leopard article again; this will be your fourth revert. If you read the rest of Talk:Mac_OS_X_v10.5, you'll see that this page is policed carefully, and that most of the criticisms on this page have survived harsh scrutiny. You've made your point on the talk page; I recommend that you trust that someone else will revert the Tom's Hardware critique if you're right.

If you make a fourth revert to the page, I'll let you know here where to find the link to the 3RR notice board, where I'll be asking for you to be blocked from editing the page.
