[edit] Fair use rationale
Fair use in Musicians' Village:
- This image illustrates the text next to which it appears, which describes the subject in question for which it promotes.
- It does not limit the copyright owner's rights to market or sell the subject in any way.
- The image is of lower resolution than the original poster (copies made from it will be of inferior quality).
- The image is being used in an informative way and does not detract from the film.
- No free or public domain images have been located for this film.
[edit] Licensing
This image is of a poster, and the copyright for it is most likely owned by either the publisher or the creator of the work depicted. It is believed that the use of scaled-down, low-resolution images of posters
qualifies as fair use under United States copyright law. Any other uses of this image, on Wikipedia or elsewhere, may be copyright infringement. See Wikipedia:Non-free content for more information. |
