...So Goes The Nation is a political documentary that follows the 2004 Presidential Election in the United State between John Kerry and George W. Bush, concentrating on the battleground state of Ohio. The movie interviews campaign workers on both sides and analyzes the outcome of the results. The name comes from the saying that "As Maine goes, so goes the nation" since the state of Maine once was a bellwether state, much like Ohio is today. The documentary scored 91% on Rotten Tomatoes.
