‘Abdullāh (عبد الله "servant of God", also spelled Abdullah, Abd Allah, Abdallah, and Abdalla) is a common Arabic name. Humility before God is an essential value of Islam, so that Abdullah is a favorite name among Muslims. There have been many notable figures named ‘Abdullah:
