[edit] Immanuel Abraham concerning the "Beta Israel Wikiproject"
Dear Lior, I would love to be an editor for that page. You Messaged me, and I was not sure how to reply. But definitely, thank you. Shalom. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Immanuel Abraham (talk • contribs) 15:57, 23 March 2008 (UTC)
- You welcome Immanuel, looking forward to see you there :) Shalom, Lior (talk) 19:02, 23 March 2008 (UTC)
Sorry I haven't gotten back to you; I'm travelling at the moment and don't have time to make any substantial edits. I'll be glad to help out with Beta Israel come June.--Yolgnu (talk) 03:06, 25 April 2008 (UTC)
- By the way, I'm not your speaker. Don't worry, I too often think that someone I meet on the Internet is someone I know in real life, but they never are.--Yolgnu (talk) 01:17, 26 April 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Genre
I think you should be a bit more careful regarding genre.

- Thank you for you concern. I'm afraid I didn't understand what you mean by genre. Could you please elaborate? Lior (talk) 22:09, 7 May 2008 (UTC)
- In second thought, I think you are right. At least regarding Kayla and Abatte Barihun. Both articles require revision - There is no musicological understanding behind the analysis of the Ras Deshen album, and the article about Kayla is most partial. At the Hebrew Wikipedia, I feel more like I'm working in a collaboration in which my bias is eventually corrected, sooner or later. At the English Wikipedia I often get the feeling of "every man to himself", but I'm trying to avoid that recently and sometimes I even succeed. At the moment I concentrate my contributions in Hebrew, but I believe that will change withing a few years. I'll be happy to hear the rest of your reflections. Best, Lior (talk) 22:14, 7 May 2008 (UTC)
