Good question, it is a translation of "motorway". The page should simply be renamed "Motorway netword (Republic of Macedonia)."

The equivalent for Bosnia, Croatia and Serbia "Autoput" was, I think, deleted. Evlekis (talk) 15:43, 17 January 2008 (UTC)

Thanks, it helped me very much. תחי מדינת ישראל (talk) 17:39, 17 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] English help

Heyo,

I'm in the midst of a mediation where I believe there might be a misunderstanding of the English language.

Since you're registered as able to contribute on a pro. level of English [1] I figured I'll ask your input on the situation.

Start here and explore the page from there. [2]

Thank you. JaakobouChalk Talk 14:21, 2 February 2008 (UTC)

I would like to help, but I'm afraid that I do not have the necessary knowledge in the procedures of EN.Wikipedia. Could you summerize this for me? (I'm mainly contributing in the Hebrew Wikipedia. תחי מדינת ישראל (talk) 17:16, 2 February 2008 (UTC)
In summary. It's a mediation regarding use of the word "hostage" on Gilad Shalit. Each side presented his notes and evidence and now I feel that the overview of the evidence ignores proper English and tries to please both sides unjustifiably. JaakobouChalk Talk 15:52, 3 February 2008 (UTC)
hmmm... well, it depends in the meaning of the word hostage. As far as it concerns the Israeli media, Shalit was kidnapped and he is not a hostage since it happened not during a military action. in short, they refer to Shalit as the "kidnapped soldier" and not as the "captive/captured soldier". I must emphasize, however, that what I have said refers to the mainstream of the media and not to the extreme people from both sides of the political map. In order to prove my point, google shows that to to the phrase " the captive/captured soldier Gilad Shalit" there are only 892 results, while to the phrase "the kidnapped soldier soldier Gilad Shalit" there are about 13,000 results. תחי מדינת ישראל (talk) 16:20, 3 February 2008 (UTC)
