Željko Sošić (b. 1980-10-14) is a young Montenegrin director, most famous for his first movie "I Have Something Important to Tell You", made in 2005.

Sošić was born in then Titograd (now Podgorica), the capital of Montenegro, in 1980. He spent his childhood and early teen years in Bijelo Polje, a town in the north of Montenegro, where he completed elementary school "Marko Miljanov" as an excellent student. At the age of 15 Sošić moved to the capital Podgorica, where he enrolled the High School of Philology. During the high school years, Sošić wrote and directed several plays with his classmates as main actors. These plays were performed primarily for high school audiences but Sošić also participated in several local drama festivals, where he received largely positive critiques. At the age of 19 Sošić enrolled at the Faculty of Drama Arts in Cetinje, the historical capital of Montenegro. He has completed a number of TV advertisements, music video clips, and directed several ceremonies and celebrations.
