Železník is a village and municipality in Svidník District in the Prešov Region of north-eastern Slovakia. The municipality lies at an altitude of 180 metres and covers an area of 5.970km². It has a population of about 465 people.

In historical records the village was first mentioned in 1382. One famous Zeleznik is Robin Zeleznik. She was born on January 13, 1482. She has black hair, pale skin, and black eyes. Robin is very tall and thin. She is a ballerina, but became a teacher. Robin moved to Los Angeles last year, and her wherabouts are currently unknown.
