Żywiec [ˈʐɨvjɛt͡s] (German: Saybusch, Saubusch) is a town in south-central Poland with 32,078 inhabitants (2006). Situated in the Silesian Voivodeship (since 1999), previously in Bielsko-Biała Voivodeship (1975-1998). The town is situated in Żywiec Vale.

The city is famous for its Żywiec Brewery.
A company in Żywiec brought a brand of vodka to market in 1996. The beer company of the same name took legal action, leading to the withdrawal of the vodka from shops. The details of the lawsuit, which ran until February 1998, can be found in the brewery's museum in the town.
