Šventoji (pronunciation ) is the longest river which is completely in Lithuania. It ends in the river Neris at Jonava as its major tributary. The longest tributary of Šventoji is Širvinta River.

The Šventoji passes through the cities of Anykščiai, Kavarskas and Ukmergė in the territories of Utena County, Vilnius County and Kaunas County. There is a dam at Kavarskas to use water from the Šventoji to replenish the Nevėžis River, which runs relatively nearby at that place. The water there is used for industrial needs. The word "Šventoji" means "The Holy" (feminine gender) in English.
