Šemsa Suljaković

Šemsa Suljaković is a Bosnian folk singer. She was Born on September 29, 1951 in Maglaj, Bosnia and Herzegovina, then a part of Yugoslavia.

Šemsa started singing in 1971 and released her first single in 1978, entitled "Otišla je ljubav s'našeg kućnog praga". She has been singing since then.

When the Yugoslavian war started, Šemsa held concerts in Europe and America to raise money for the Bosnian people.

Šemsa's most well loved song (Što mi pitaš) which has been performed at every international concert since its original recording in 1986 is considered to be one of her "golden oldies".
