The Şopot River is a tributary of the Olt River in Romania. It crosses the western part of the city of Slatina and joins the drainage canal along the dyke of Lake Slatina. This canal joins the Olt River downstream of the Slatina Dam. The river is completely covered on a reach of 0.8 kilometers within the city of Slatina
