Şelimbăr (German: Schellenberg; Hungarian: Sellenberk) is a commune in central Romania, in the county of Sibiu in Transylvania, about 6 km east of the county seat Sibiu. The village of Şelimbăr is the site of the famous Battle of Şelimbăr.
Its four villages are Şelimbăr (2859 inhabitants), Bungard (Germ. Baumgarten; 382 inhabitants); Mohu (543 inhabitants) and Veştem (Germ. Westen; 1483 inhabitants).
