Ōyano, Kumamoto

Ōyano (大矢野町 Ōyano-machi?) was a town located in Amakusa District, Kumamoto, Japan. On March 31, 2004 the town merged with three other towns from the district forming the city of Kami-Amakusa and no longer exists as an independent municipality.

As of 2003, the town had an estimated population of 17,017 and a density of 448.05 persons per km². The total area was 37.98 km².
