Ōno Kurobei (大野九郎兵衛?) (?–11 November 1751) was the chief retainer of the Banshū Akō Han (Asano family) clan, and his annual earnings were 650 koku.

He was known as a bureaucrat working on economic affairs. He demonstrated skill in managing the clan finances and the development of reclaimed land for rice cultivation, and was eventually promoted to karō (executive) as a result of his distinguished services. In 1701, his lord Asano Takumino Kami Naganori wounded Kira Kōzuke no Suke with his short sword in Edo castle, and Naganori was sentenced to the punishment of Seppuku(or Harakiri), which resulted in the elimination of the Asano line.
Ōno held consultation in Akō castle with his principal retainer, Ōishi. Ōno insisted on the surrendering submission, and conflicted with Ōishi and other feudal soldiers who insisted on besieging. Moreover, Ōno insisted on that it is necessary to distribute money according to annual earnings, while Ōishi insisted it should cordially distribute it for the person with few incomes. After all, it was distributed it as according to Ōishi's claim.
In the matter of exchange of domainal paper currency, Ōno was opposed to Okajima Yasōemon, and he has run away by ship, putting household effects on his house. Since he was panicked very much, he kept his young daughter placed in the house. Afterwards, he lived near the Ninna-ji temple of Kyoto, and he was called Bankannshō. It is unknown for certain when he died, but in Matsugishi Temple located in Annaka City, Gumma Prefecture, there is a gravestone that is thought to be his that records the twenty-fourth day of the ninth month, 1751 as the date of death.
