Ōhata, Aomori

Ōhata (大畑町 Ōhata-machi?) was a town located in Shimokita District, Aomori, Japan.
As of 2003, the town had an estimated population of 8,761 and a density of 37.18 persons per km². The total area was 235.63 km².
The town was merged with the neighbouring Mutsu city on March 14, 2005 and thus no longer exists as an independent municipality.
