Ōhara (大原町 Ōhara-machi?) was a town located in Isumi District, Chiba Prefecture, Japan.
As of 2003, the town had an estimated population of 20,094 and a density of 301.67 persons per km². The total area was 66.61 km².

On December 5, 2005 the town of Ōhara merged with the towns of Misaki and Isumi to form the city of Isumi.
