Perhaps this article should be moved to Japanese armour? (Parallel articles at Chinese armour, Korean armour and Mongolian armour.--Confuzion 03:52, 25 October 2005 (UTC)

I see no reason why there shouldn't be separate articles for Asian armor pieces. There are plenty of individual articles for European armor pieces. Durova 00:43, 11 March 2006 (UTC)
