Ğäziz Älmöxämmädev

Älmöxämmädev Ğäziz Salix ulı ([ælmœxæˈmætəf ɣæˈzis saˌlʲixuˈlɯ] aka Ğäziz Älmöxämmädev[1]; Tatar Cyrillic: Әлмөхәммәдев Газиз Салих улы; Russian: Альмухаме́дов Гази́з Сали́хович, Almukhamedov Gaziz Salikhovich; 1895-1938) was an ethnic Bashkir Tatar opera singer (tenor) and composer. He was born in the village of Muraptalovo of Sterlitamaksky uyezd of Ufa Governorate (now Kuyurgazinsky district of Bashkortostan). People's Singer (1929). In 1922-1929 lived in Kazan.

In collaboration with Vasili Vinogradov and Soltan Ğäbäşi he composed first Tatar operas, Saniä (1925) and Eşçe[2] (The Worker) (1930).

Älmöxämmädev composed also vocal and instrumental concertos.

Älmöxämmädev had fallen a victim of Great Purge.
