There are several important things that the article doesn't mention:

  • the Yugoslav People's Army colonel who first interviewed Djordje later admitted that he was forced to do it, and was punished for that;
  • a London doctor, Peter Holly, operated Djordje and confirmed that he could not self-inflict the injury, and was later threatened for that;
  • Stane Dolanc's comment which appears to have caused quite an uproar;
  • Director Milorad Bajic filmed a documentary about the event which was forbidden;
  • Djordje was legally exhonerated later, and the country was ordered to pay him 100,000 DEM which was never done;
  • probably more.

[edit] Page name

Can we move this to the cannonical spelling, Đorđe Martinović? Duja 14:13, 24 October 2007 (UTC)

Done. Linux users with some keyboard layouts should be able to type that as altgr+f 'đ' and altgr+shift+d 'Ð'. - Francis Tyers · 20:36, 25 October 2007 (UTC)
