Český les is the Czech name for a part of a mountain range, which on the other side is in the Upper Palatinate of Bavaria, Germany, bordering to the Czech Republic. In the 20th century the mountain part was given to a newly established Czechoslowakia and called Český les.

It is a mountainous solid mass, its highest point being at an altitude of 1042m. The area features many hiking trails.
