[edit] Other mentions

The name Þrúðr is used in the name Þrvðheimi (Trud-home: Grímnismál, 4), and Þrvdgelmir (Trud-helmet) son of Avrgelmir (Cow-helmet) (Vaftrudnismál, 29)

[edit] Language?

Quick question...if this is the English language wiki, why does this page's title use three letters (out of five in the word) not found in the English language? Can we use "Thrud" as the title and put the Norse spelling of the name in parentheses in the body like with, say, Russian or Greek names elsewhere on Wiki?

1) The Russian and the Greek don't use the Latin alphabet.
2) See Wikipedia:Naming conventions (Norse mythology).

Ah. Did not know about that. Thanks. Rayasmith 03:10, 24 June 2007 (UTC)
