Újezd u Brna (IPA[ˈu:jɛst ˈʊbr̩na]) is a town in the Czech Republic located near the city of Brno. The earliest mention of this town is in a church charter dating from 1131 CE, making it one of the oldest towns in the east Czech region of Moravia. Újezd has seen considerable conflict in its history; the start of the Battle of the Three Emperors was signaled by cannon fire from the Chapel of St. Anthony of Padua.
