Öckerö is a locality (pop. 3,000) on the island of Öckerö, Bohuslän, Sweden and the seat of Öckerö Municipality, Västra Götaland County. It is situated on the island Öckerö, which is the main island of Öckerö Municipality. The total municipal population is about 12,000.
