From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Oscar Ribas Reig (born 1936) was the first prime minister of Andorra in 1982. He is still alive today, and was succeeded by Marc Forne Molne. Reig announced when he was elected that he would concentrate on fiscal and tax reforms. There is also evidence to suggest that he improved tourism in the country. In 1994, Andorra became a member of the United Nations. This occurred while Reig was prime minister. In December 1994, he was removed in a no-confidence vote by Parliament.
