Club de Deportes Ñublense are a Chilean Football club, their home town is Chillán, VIII Región of Bio Bio, in Chile. The club was founded on August 20, 1916. They were promoted to the First division of Chilean football Primera División in 2006. They are currently managed by Fernando Díaz.

[edit] The Beginnings
The history of the club dates 1916, when a group of friends, headed by the professor of the grammar school of men, Manuel Lara Gutierrez, decide to form a sport club which outside a refuge for the activities related to the scope of the sport in Chillan.Thus, 20 of August of he himself year, in the grammar school of men of the city, is created sport “ Grammar school Soccer Club ”, which counted between its branches with Básquetbol, boxing, soccer, among others .[1]
