I wanted to prevent the red text (before Tuamotu-Gambier, now Tuamotu-Gambier) in the Wikilink in the article French Polynesia in the section "French Polynesia#Administrative divisions". -- Citylover 10:29, 11 September 2005 (UTC)

In the case that an article already exists, the way to do this is to create a simple redirect. Please see what I've done at Tuamotu-Gambier.
