Ísafjarðarbær (66°04′N 23°09′WCoordinates: 66°04′N 23°09′W) is a municipality of Iceland in the Westfjords region, created in 1996 from Flateyrarhreppur, Ísafjarðarkaupstaður, Mosvallahreppur, Mýrahreppur, Suðureyrarhreppur and Þingeyrarhreppur. It has an area of 2.416 km² and a population of 4,131.

The principal settlement is Ísafjörður, others being Hnífsdalur, Flateyri, Suðureyri and Þingeyri.
