Édouard Nzambimana

Édouard Nzambimana (b. 1945) was Prime Minister of Burundi from 12 November 1976 until 13 October 1978, when the post was abolished. He then became foreign affairs minister, serving until 1982.

He then joined the private sector, as an architect, and later as the founder and CEO of ERCOIL, specialising in importing petroleum products and selling them through ERCOIL petro stations throughout the country. He is also the board chairman of UCAR, an insurance company.

Edouard Nzambimana is married to Francoise Bibwana. They have 6 children and 11 grandchildren.
