Étienne-Brûlé has been credited for its numerous French plays and talent shows (Soirée Cabaret-Cabaret des Étoiles) across the province of Ontario, under directors Luc Bernier and lately Darrell Barrs who use the logo "Le Théâtre d'Étienne-Brûlé". In April 2008, the theater troupe did a presentation of "Jeune femme cherche homme désespérément", a piece written by renowned Quebec writer Carole Tremblay. For 2008's Soirée Cabaret, the theme was La croisière s'amuse.
