École de Management de Lyon or EM Lyon (that means "Lyon Management School" or EM Lyon Business School), was founded in Lyon (France) in 1872 by the local business community, and is affiliated to the Lyon Chamber of Commerce and Industry. EM Lyon is a leading French business school with Triple accreditation: EQUIS by the EFMD, AMBA and the AACSB. The school is consistently ranked among the top three or four business schools in France. In 2007, the school was ranked third in France, and in the top 10 in Europe, by both the Financial Times[1] and The Economist[2]. Also in 2007, Financial Times ranked EM Lyon 6th in Europe for its Master of Science in Management program.
It offers different kinds of programmes:
- Msc in Management, for students from the "classes préparatoires" or with a bachelor degree;
- MS programmes, in 11 different fields;
- MEB: Master in European Business, for foreign students;
- Full-time or part-time MBAs
- Executive programmes;
- Entrepreneurship programmes;
- Doctoral programmes.
