Èric Bertran

Èric Bertran (Barcelona, 1990) is a student of Social Baccalaureate. Live from the age of five in Lloret de Mar and he loves to sail, the diving and reading, often writes opinion pieces in various media, especially his two columns, a biweekly newspaper in the e-noticies and another in the fortnightly Daily direct! cat. He is the creator and manager of the group elfènix (Army of the Fenix, Good morning and elfènixTV Catalan Countries), one of the Catalan groups with more users, and has been part of the Council of writing weekly El Matí. In the world directs his own radio program called 'Perspective' on Radio Arenys, where he talks about now through different youth. He is the author of the book 'Èric and the Army of the Fenix' (2005), with more than thirteen thousand copies sold, which has made a theatrical adaptation (written and directed by Alexandre Victor Planella Pere), which has been two months of season in Barcelona and is developing a film project. More recently published 'The Institute of Shame' (2007). In 2005 Xevi Killed shot a documentary on the story that starred Bertran when he was 14 years old and the Audiencia Nacional of Spain requested 8 years of reformatory for having requested labelling in Catalan and some companies say that is only a statement during Catalan (and recorded in the file). The film has been translated into English (by Heather Hayes)-is preparing a translation into Italian and Basque-and has exceeded 500,000 visits. As prizes have received the Award "Harvester of the Year" (2006) and Jaume I of the Valencian Country Cultural Action (2007).
