Åsnes og Våler

Åsnes og Våler is a former municipality in Hedmark county, Norway.
It was created in 1849 by a split from Hof formannskapsdistrikt. At that time Åsnes og Våler had a population of 7,087.
In 1854, Åsnes og Våler was split to create two municipalities: Åsnes with a population of 3,677 and Våler with a population of 3,410. Both municipalities still exist.
